Subject: Good show
And to the fellow TLG fans, I appreciate Atreyu's comments. I hope he keeps at it and makes it to a killer show in the future!
Subject: Agree with JamminJerome
I give the sound of the recording here a 4, the quality of the show a 3, the setlist selection a 2, the band/fan enthusiasim a 4, the jams a 2.

Sounds like a few moerons were in the house, and frankly, if you guys think the vocals and songs are bad, it's fine with me if you stick with moe (who while great musicians, IMO lack half the soul and 1/4 of the song writing of TLG). My guess is by the time they've been playing out as long as moe, TLG will be MUCH bigger.
TLG crowd also has much hotter gals than a moe show, while moe shows have a lot more guys with white baseball hats. And TLG has a much funnier mascot (PlateFace!!)

Bad vocals? More songs instead of jams? I've never heard that before. In fact, the most typical complaint I hear about this band is that there are too much vocals and not enough jams, while the number one compliment I hear for them is that they write better songs than most other jambands.
No, TLG is not a 'top-tier' jamband (whatever that means), but they could be someday. What 'top-tier' jamband jams less/sings more than TLG? There are 11 songs in each set and this is not an unusually long show - what more could you want? It is a little more jam heavy show than most, but the average song is probably still about 7 minutes long.
I'm guessing the first reviewer didn't download this show, but I did. It's another great show, dueling. Very clean sound.
Subject: My first TLG show
I was a bit disappointed, I must say. Tea Leaf Green gets all this hype, but they aren't a top-teir jamband.
What do they have? Nasty jams, and great intensity. Awesome lead guitar and solid bass. What are they missing? Vocals - BAD. Some of the sung parts were painful to listen to. And SONGS. They have great jams, but their songs themselves are pretty weak. My girlfriend was with me for the show, and she complained that they got kind of boring after a while. They've got one thing - jam after jam. Which is nice, but I like to hear a song every now and then.
The venue was pretty nice, I thought. So was the price - $14. Tea Leaf Green was worth the $14 - even though I wasn't overly impressed by their performance. They've got a lot of potential, but don't buy into the hype. Good, yes, but not great.
